There is a hadith on the authority of Salma Umm Rafi in Jami Tirmidhi (Hadith No. 2055) and Sunan Ibn Majah (Hadith No. 3502).

Salma Umm Rafi said that when the Prophet ﷺ had a wound or was pierced by a thorn, he ﷺ used henna.

Sunan Abi Dawud (Hadith No. 3858) is a hadith of Abu Rafi, wife of Salma.

Once someone said to Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, "O Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wasallam, I have a lot of pain in my head." So he said to that person:

He asked to apply it, and when he complained of pain in his feet, he talked about applying henna.
