Highest individual score in T20 World Cup
World Cup T20: T20 cricket is an exciting game and the margin for error is very low. The batsmen always come to score as many runs as possible as they only get 20 overs. This is why we see the best batsmen of any country playing at the top of the order. But on any given day, a batsman can change the whole picture with his performance.
As we have seen in previous T20 World Cups, the best batsman of the tournament always helps his team to perform better. But when it comes to one game, one big inning can guarantee a team a win. And in the history of ICC events, some batsmen have scored very big innings.
3. Alex Hales (116*) v Sri Lanka in 2014 World Cup

But after that, Alex Hales' passes completely changed the game. He added 152 runs for the third wicket with Eoin Morgan and remained unbeaten on 116* off 64 balls, including 11 fours and six maximums.
