England and West Indies played in the final and the Windies lifted the trophy, with India's batsman Virat Kohli winning the Man of the Series title. In the 2016 World Cup, he scored 273 runs at an average of 136.50 and a strike rate of 146.77. He broke 3 fifties with a tournament-high 4s (29 4s).

7. David Warner (2021 Player of the Year)
