When is Pakistan Day? 


Pakistan Day is an open holiday celebrated annually on March 23rd in Pakistan. 

Pakistan Resolution Day honors the 'Lahore Resolution' of 1940, otherwise called the 'Pakistan Resolution' that eventually prompted the creation of Pakistan.

The day is seen as an open holiday in all administrative and provincial government workplaces, banks and private segments. 

History of Pakistan Day 


On March 23rd 1940, the Lahore Resolution was passed which dismissed the idea of a United India and proposed the creation of a free state for Muslims, despite the fact that it didn't actually make reference to Pakistan at all. 

The resolution prepared for the creation of Pakistan on August fourteenth 1947, when Pakistan turned into the world's first Islamic republic. August fourteenth is celebrated as a holiday - Independence Day. 

To stamp the resolution, the Minar-e-Pakistan (presented above) was developed during the 1960s on the site in Iqbal Park where the All-India Muslim League passed the Lahore Resolution 

How is Pakistan Day celebrated? 


The holiday is celebrated with early morning military and non military personnel marches in Islamabad with weapon salutes in Islamabad and provincial capitals. 

The national banner is flown from all government structures and divisions. A few structures, including the Lahore Railway Station, WAPDA House, and the Provincial Assembly constructing, are brightened with lights and brilliant hitting to stamp the national day. 

During the day, the President gives national honors and decorations Presidency. Wreaths are likewise laid at the tombs of Muhammad Iqbal in Lahore and Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Karachi. 

Government workplaces, banks, post workplaces, instructive organizations and organizations will be shut
