According to reports, Kareena Kapoor Khan will not be doing a special song in Salman Khan- Sonakshi Sinha starrer Dabangg 3. Read on!

For the longest time, grapevine has been abuzz with the news that just like Dabangg 2, Kareena Kapoor Khan will feature in a special song in the third installment of Dabangg. However, according to the latest reports, it is being said that Bebo will not feature in Dabangg 3. That’s right! Producer Arbaaz Khan has dismissed any news of Kareena Kapoor being approached for the film, as quoted by Mumbai Mirror, adding, “official announcements regarding the film will be made at the right time.”

The news of Bebo featuring in a special song in the third installment of the Dabangg franchise starting doing the rounds ever since the success of the special song - Fevicol Se in Dabangg 2. But looks like, there is sad news for all the Bebo fans as producer of the film has confirmed that Kareena has not been approached for any special song for Dabangg 3. The shooting of Dabangg 3 will kick-start in April, wherein Salman Khan and Sonakshi Singa will be seen in their respective Chulpul Pandey and Rajjo characters and according to reports, the shooting will kick-start in Maheshwar, a town in the Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh. Post that, the cast and crew of Dabangg 3 will shoot in Maharashtra.

In September last year, as Dabangg clocked eight years, Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha made an official announcement of Dabangg 3 on their social media channels. While Dabangg was helmed by Abhinav Kashyap, Dabangg 2 was directed by Arbaaz Khan and for the third installment; Prabhudeva will step into the director shoes. Last, Salman Khan and Prabudeva were seen in the 2009-film Wanted which went on to become successful at the box office. On the work front, after Race 3, Salman Khan will next be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat starring Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, and Sunil Grover and the actor is currently shooting for the last leg of the film.
